The host Olegs was extremely hospitable and kind. We arrived at 12pm, he had prepared the sauna for us. He gave us a quick tour of the guest house/cottage. The fridge was stocked with stuff for breakfast as well as beers and wine (all on the house). There is a big nice bathtub for relaxing. The cottage was extremely clean and cozy. It is equipped with everything one would need for a comfortable and a pleasant stay. On our second day, Olegs actually brought us nice sandwiches and a bottle of Soviet champagne which was pleasantly surprising! Overall, it was a wonderful experience, would 200% recommend it to anyone who wishes to have a nice getaway for a couple of days to relax and unwind.

Champêtre Déjà Vu is located in the Zemgales priekšpilsēta district of Rīga, 5.6 km from Žanis Lipke Memorial, 6 km from Bastejkalna Parks and 6 km from Latvian National Museum of Art. Very nice and well equipped place. It is close to the airport and there's a bus stop right across the street. Anastasiia was very generous in providing information and very accommodating. If you are looking for a grocery store upon arriving, especially day 1, look for Rimi stores, they are everywhere.
