The Gertrude Hotel self check-in is a family-friendly, boutique hotel located in a 19th century Art Nouveau style building. This 4-star hotel is a 15-minute walk from the St. Breakfast is very nice, good range of different type of foods. Exceptionally clean rooms. Very friendly and helpful reception. Rooms are big enough, everything you may need is provided. Location is just right. Not far from centre of city, just 10 min walk. many shops, takeaways, pharmacy just within a minute walking distance. Best of luck to this lovely hotel. My second stay here and definitely I'll be back again and recommend to my friends.

The Viktorija Hotel is housed in a renovated Art Nouveau building in the centre of Riga, a 15-minute walk of the Old Town. This is my go-to place to stay in Rīga. It's always clean and comfortable, and it's the only place I've found for this reasonable of a price to include ensuite bathrooms. The staff are friendly and it's fairly close to the train and bus stations as well as the trendier restaurants popping up on Stabu Street and the hipstery Miera Street.
