Situated in Seoul, 1 km from Changdeokgung Palace and less than 1 km from Jogyesa Temple, Hwadong 1Beonji offers free WiFi and air conditioning. Beautiful, quiet, clean, fantastic location. I would thoroughly recommend this little Hanok. It was nice to spend a busy day in Seoul and yet have peace here in the evening. Still only a short walk to palaces, local shops, little galleries and museums. Wish we had more time. It was self check in. We didn’t meet anyone but all very efficient and no problems at all. Thank you. 🙂

Location was easy to location as it’s near the subway station. The house was beautiful and modern, exactly what I wanted. It made my stay so special. They provide for everything which was so great as I was able to do laundry (may be hard to use if you don’t understand Korean)

Luxury hanok with private bathtub - SN09 is located in the Jongno-Gu district of Seoul, 1.3 km from Jongmyo Shrine, 1.6 km from Jogyesa Temple and 2 km from Changgyeonggung Palace. This place was perfect. The apartment itself was very comfortable and beautiful. The location was great, the neighborhood is really nice with plenty of coffee shops and restaurants close by, and a relatively short walk to take the bus. We didn’t meet anyone for check-in and check-out and yet the staff was very helpful - we requested an iron and a few minutes later they had left one by the door, and they also helped us schedule a taxi to the airport hours after we had checked out. Greatly recommended.

Luxury hanok with private bathtub - SN05 is set in the Jongno-Gu district of Seoul, 1.3 km from Jongmyo Shrine, 1.6 km from Jogyesa Temple and 2 km from Changgyeonggung Palace. This was exactly as it appeared in the pictures - beautiful interior, with the exposed wooden beams and lovely sliding doors, as well as the modern bathrooms etc, and the lovely courtyard outside. Getting there was easy - we were sent the entrance code and detailed instructions on how to get there on the day, which were really helpful. Good A/C, good wifi, there was a projector and sound system so we could watch a film on the big screen. Really quiet area at night, with lots of restaurants. Lovely bathtub, and bathsalts provided. I enjoyed having the tea they provided out in the courtyard with breakfast in the morning.

Situated in Seoul, near Jongmyo Shrine, Jogyesa Temple and Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchonae has a garden. The air-conditioned accommodation is less than 1 km from Changdeokgung Palace. Found this hanok - traditional Korean home - on a blog for lone women travellers & it was everything she said: friendly hosts (they got up early to make sure I was away safely in taxi though I insisted they needn't!), comfy futon, en suite. On a month-long work & sightseeing trip to Japan, I just had to make a flying visit to Seoul being a Korean drama fan. Bukchonae is a short walking distance to palaces, museums & Bukchon Village, all the things I wanted to see. They even have a small well-fitted kitchen for late night snacks or quick breakfast. Couldn't recommend more. Incredible value for money!
