Perfect location and the hostes where super kind and helpful. You can walk to all the nice place nearby and the metro is also within walking distance. We did not took the breakfast but we took coffee in the restaurant each morning which was really, really good. The rooms are spacious for Japanese terms and very clean. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Everything was to our pleasure during the week we stayed at Cross Hotel in July 2023. Comfortable beds, a luxurious feel in large modern quiet rooms with a small fridge, good cleaning, extremely helpful reception staff. Complementary coffee in the reception area. Self-checkin worked fine with help from staff. The location is superb smack bang in the center of Kyoto. Sanjo station within short walking distance.

This is a really lovely hotel with really friendly and helpful staff. We had a lovely room, with a comfortable bed and all the things you need for a stay, USB ports to charge the phone etc as we didnt have an adaptor for Japanese plugs, tea coffee, fridge, plus all the toiletries in the bathroom. Loved having an all day buffet breakfast, it was so nice to come in after a day in the cold and rain and help ourselves to a hot drink and a croissant. Loved the free bikes with the booking, and the staff were so helpful in getting the bikes for us. We really felt that nothing was too much trouble in this hotel, whether it was getting the bikes for us or offering advice on how to get to a temple or garden. It was a great location and so easy to walk to the Metro. We never understood the bus service but I am sure if you can get to grips with that its good for those too. The fantastic Ninjo Castle is just a 5minute walk.

Doté d'une salle de sport, d'un restaurant et d'un bar, le KAYA Kyoto Nijo Castle, BW Signature Collection by Best Western est situé dans le centre de Kyoto, à 700 mètres du château de Nijo. Brilliant hotel. Was in the quieter part of town however, only a short taxi ride away. Their decor was amazing and the free drinks in the bar until 10pm was a lovely touch and unexpected. There is a boulangerie around the corner where we went around the corner was great for breakfast.
