Rakuten Stay in Kokura was truly a wonderful space to stay whilst visiting from California to see my son who is studying in Kitakyushu. The double twin room was so nice and large, with two large beds, a couch, coffee table, end table, and chair, as well as a long wall desk with two more chairs. The full bath and shower were wonderful -- the tub was very large! There was also a mini-kitchen area with sink, glasses, microwave and refrigerator. Everything was VERY clean! I appreciated that they left extra spray bottles of cleanser and paper towels for my 10 day stay. I also had more than enough bath and hand towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and the best wash cloths ever! I was very happy there! Also, the air conditioning system was very easy to figure out and the room cooled off quickly when needed it. Oh, the beds! VERY comfortable. I was shocked at how good my body felt after sleeping on their beds and pillows. It is also close to everything. You walk out the left and across the first street crossing and if you go up the stairs, that is Kokura station. VERY convenient. Also very close to the market streets with so many shops and restaurants and DAISO (fun!). On rainy days there were complimentary umbrellas to use and return. I felt safe and happy to be there. Also, the emails/communication I got were VERY kind and VERY thorough. I would highly recommend Rakuten stay.

Offering a terrace, Hotel RELIEF Kokura ANNEX is located in Kitakyushu in the Fukuoka Region. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Tanga Station is a 6-minute walk from this hotel. There was 24 hours free fresh bread, drinks, udon, and curry rice for the customer, I love it! In addition, there was a comic room in the second fl, which who are manga fans gonna love this place tho.

Very convenient, just a 5-mins walk away from the main train station (Kokura). Staff were friendly and welcoming, room was clean with all the basic amenities provided. Would recommend travelers to pick the Moderate Double Room instead of the Standard Double Room if you prefer a more spacious bed and room (especially for tall travelers like my husband).
