Absolutely loved both the apartment and the host, Eugenio! There's everything you'd need for a short or prolonged stay - the kitchen is stocked with essentials (for us that'd be coffee). Eugenio was very helpful, even providing us with city tourist maps and showing us where the closest restaurants, shops and bus stops are.

Very fair offer, you get everything what is advertised plus a few nice surprises. Unfortunately, quite far from tourist attractions. However, if you are not a strong walker, you may take a bus, the stops 10 minutes away.

Boasting garden views, Il Calamaio features accommodation with a garden and a terrace, around 2.7 km from Ponte Pietra. It is situated 3 km from Verona Arena and offers bicycle parking. EVERTHING!! This may be the most thoughtful and well equipped apartment I have ever stayed in all over the world. It has EVERYTHING you need for a great stay: large and comfortable queen bed, hot shower with extra large towels, toiletries, good wifi, excellent kitchen with dishes, cutlery, cooking utensils, salt/pepper/sugar, olive oil/balsamic, coffee/tea, plus iron and lint roller. There is a laundry drying rack on the patio. While there is no clothes dryer, there is a laundromat 1.5 blocks away where you can dry anything that doesn't fully dry on the rack for €2.50. Many other nice touches all over the apartment. There is a bus stop steps from the apartment to take you anywhere, and we walked to and from the train station in about 12 minutes. The hosts welcome you with wine and snacks. The communication was excellent and the hosts were flexible with our check in time as the apartment was ready.
