Giuseppe from main reception went above and beyond to help me, I got mugged the day before got my phone and wallet stolen, and he went out of his way to help me through this ordeal I can't thank him enough for how helpful he was and how understanding he was to help me navigate this issue while in Rome. Giuseppe you are one of the reasons I'm still travelling Italy today. Thank you

The Hotel Santa Maria is set in Trastevere, on the bank of the Tiber River, it is one of the most charming and authentic neighbourhoods of Rome's historic centre. The whole hotel area is amazing! It’s like a home in charming Trastevere, quiet, beautiful and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Room is cosy, clean and nice with all you need for your comfort. Excellent breakfast. Within walking distance of all major sites in Rome. Simply the best!

Breakfast was really good and complete, with charcuterie cuts, cheeses, pastries, cereals, bread, fruit, and even a juicer machine and a pancakes machine. Beds were very comfy to my like (rather hard and firm feel, new mattresses). Location was perfect, and in a quiet alley by the river, just 15 minutes away on foot from Trastevere, Vatican City and Pz Navonna. To reach the hotel, bus 64 from Termini Station will serve you well leaving you just 5 minutes away from the hotel. The staff at the hotel all were vey friendly and attentive

Designed by Baroque architect Borromini, the Donna Camilla Savelli is a former monastery in Rome's popular Trastevere area. It offers a garden, elegant and sober rooms, and free WiFi throughout. Everything was perfect. Great location close to dinner places. Breakfast was fantastic, in the garden setup. Staff very attentive. Upgraded room was superb too.
