Grand Hotel D'Europe ligger i centrala Pondicherry och har en gemensam lounge, en terrass och en bar. We arrived at the facility pretty much on time and our room was ready. This is a heritage property and about 135 years old. Yet it was well built and had an outstanding neatness to it. The room was quite big for the 3 of us. There was a changing room next to the attached bathroom. We also had a personal balcony. Despite of the extreme hot weather outside the 2 Airco unit outlets kept the room very cool. Food at the restaurant downstairs was very delicious and had quite variety of cuisines. I personally liked the Pizzas. At the breakfast there were a wide variety of fruits to choose from along with many other delicacies. The location of the hotel was very close to the beach. Staff were very friendly and catered to our every single need. Mr. Rajesh, the GM at the facility provided personal attention to our needs and was a very friendly person to talk to. The cherry on top was the small swimming pool where we spent hours enjoying a cool break from the hot weather.

Rooms are spacious and beds very comfortable. The staff was friendly and very attentive. There is a nice coffee shop on the ground floor. One needs to be aware though that there is no 24h food/room service in this property.

Le Colonial Suites ligger idealiskt beläget i centrala Pondicherry, 2 minuters promenad från Promenade Beach och 400 m från Sri Aurobindo Ashram. The rooms are huge and very well maintained. Everything is at the right place and all facilities available. Absolutely loved everything Ramesh the manager has been very cordial and made us extremely comfortable.
