Built over 175 years ago within the city of Jaipur as the royal family manor, Samode Haveli reflects the style and elegance of the royals. A special feature of the Haveli is the elephant ramp. The most amazing hotel I’ve ever stayed at. We loved everything about it, from the decor to the service, to the poolside. We had every evening meal in the restaurant which was always delicious, and the breakfast was wonderful too. We loved our evening drinks on the roof terrace to wind down before dinner. We never wanted to leave the hotel to go exploring!

Hava Mahal is just 20min walk from the hotel (the Jaipur centre is close but you are still far from the noise) -there's a possibility to have lunch and dinner at the hotel (which are really tasty) -decent breakfast -unlimited chai and water are available all day long -excellent view from the hotel roof on the whole city -we could rent a taxi via the hotel manager Goriya to get to Chand Baori -all in all a really great and friendly hotel with attentive staff

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Wind palace in Jaipur. The luxurious hotel had a welcoming ambiance, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. The hotel had a great selection of dining options, and I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet. Although I didn't get to explore all the hotel amenities, the ones I did use were impressive. Overall, I would highly recommend Hotel Wind palace to anyone visiting Jaipur.

Built in 1727, Raj Palace was one of the city’s first palace and is a reflection of few elements of the Mughal period. It is a former maharajah's palace from the 18th century. The splendour of bygone days is still palpable. The whole complex is very spacious, sumptuously furnished and like an oasis in the hustle and bustle of the hectic city. The staff is very friendly, courteous and helpful (for example, they organised train tickets for us, which is quite a difficult task in India). The whole hotel exudes the charm of an old grand hotel, you feel a bit transported back to a bygone era. The rooms are spacious, the breakfast is rich (you choose à la carte, there is no buffet, which we found very pleasant). The pool is located in a small courtyard, where you are mostly alone. The hotel is very centrally located in the centre of Jaipur; for example, the City Palace is only about ten minutes away by taxi. We can fully recommend this hotel. Despite its size, its history and heritage make it a far more individual travel experience than comparable hotels in this price range from larger hotel chains.
