Location was pretty nice. Even it is close to the street, rooms and common areas were calm. Most of the historical places are in walking distance. Reception stuff were friendly and helpful with our questions. They have some nice offer of trips, which we choose. Breakfast was tasty. We also receive a box to go during morning trip, which was nice. We can recommend!

Set 300 metres from Sultan's Palace, The Patio Yogya offers an open-air bath, a garden and air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. Everything. Staff amazing. The guys are the best hostel staff I’ve ever stayed with, despite some specific information they gave me that was not correct about the city and things to do around. But it was Ramadan date, so it was confusing, many things worked differently as normal (closed due to Ramadan, change of schedules, etc), so I understand. The bathrooms are so clean and comfortable. For hostel I can say is the cleanest and best I’ve ever been.

We had an incredible stay! :) The owner and her mom are the sweetest people.. They went above and beyond for us. They gave us watermelon when we arrived and snacks for our tour the next day. We arrived really late and they contacted someone for us to come arrange our sim cards at the hotel (very good deal). They also helped us for a tour the next day. The hotel itself was very clean and spacious with big and comfortable beds. We had the family room that came with a big balcony. The bathroom is separate, but it's not shared so even better. For the price it was exceptional. Would love to stay here again!

The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Zidan. They helped with train tickets and taxis. Nothing was too much trouble. My room was huge for one person and excellent value for money.

Maria was excellent with helping us with transportation and things to do and where to eat. Bram was also very attentive to our needs at breakfast. We were there for 3 nights and each morning was a different delicious and beautifully presented breakfast. The location was ideal for walking to the sites. Other than morning prayer at 4:45, it’s a very quiet location.
