Four Points by Sheraton Surabaya, Tunjungan Plaza offers accommodation in the business district in Surabaya. The hotel has a conveniently direct access to the Tunjungan Plaza Shopping Mall. El hotel es grande, con una amplia recepción en el primer piso, justo al lado de un centro comercial. En la entrada hay un escaner para controlar el acceso al hotel. Llegamos a media tarde en taxi que contratamos y pagamos en el aeropuerto. Al llegar al hotel el conductor nos quiso cobrar un extra a lo que nos negamos, y queremos agradecer la mediación del personal de recepción del hotel para solucionar el problema. Todo el personal es muy amable. El check in muy rápido. Habitación amplia, confortable y muy bien insonorizada. Te obsequian con un par de botellas de agua. Como el mismo día que llegamos haciamos la excursión al Bromo y al siguiente nos ibamos muy pronto no reservamos el desayuno. Justo en frente del hotel hay los taxis oficiales Blue Bird que nosotros utilizamos para ir a la estación de tren (no es un precio fijo, ponen el taximetro, pero el precio es muy económico) La relación calidad precio es excelente y además nos sentimos muy a gusto los dos días. Volveríamos a alojarnos sin ninguna duda.

El Hotel Santika Pandegiling está situado junto al bulevar Jalan Raya Darmo, el más importante de Surabaya, y ofrece habitaciones modernas con TV de pantalla plana por cable y baño privado. The location was great. It was good walking distance to shops and restaurants (we love Juu Juu Ramen--a real hidden gem) and it was easy to get around. The room itself was nice and it was always made up clean and comfortable each day. The staff were all great and we really liked the complimentary snacks every few days! The breakfast is amazing and we always looked forward to it each morning!

Set in the heart of business and shopping district of Surabaya, JW Marriott Hotel Surabaya offer a luxurious 5-star accommodation, with exquisite European décor, outdoor pool and a fitness centre. JW Marriott Surabaya is an absolutely beautiful property that boasts many of the best amenities in the city. It is fully self-sufficient with everything you may require within easy reach: not only do you have the usual comforts, like the 6th-floor rooftop pool next to a loveable observation deck and meditation grounds, massage parlour, gym etc.; but also no fewer than five different eateries, each of them a culinary attraction in its own right. We had a very memorable welcome coffee in the lovely bakery downstairs (hi Fera!) and a very enjoyable dinner in the steakhouse, rightfully proud to be the best in Surabaya. In fact, while the city itself is vibrant, colourful and alive, it can also be a bit much at times, and this hotel with its lowkey luxurious rooms, comfy beds and immaculate facilities is just what one needs to recharge. Speaking of recharging, the absolutely mind-blowing breakfast deserves a special mention—I don't think I ever saw a similarly wild choice of different cuisines and mouthwatering dishes served with comparable elegance anywhere else. You could basically disregard everything else I wrote and simply come for the breakfast and you wouldn't be disappointed. Finally, staff here are exceptionally friendly (shoutout to the extraordinary Afdilah who had to tolerate my incessant questioning and helped us throughout our stay) even by Indonesian standards, and that's a hard bar to clear. All in all, it's a place I'd come back to just to stay in the hotel, even though venturing out is a breeze, too—JW Marriott is very well located in the centre of the city and most of the local attractions are within easy reach.
