Located in the heart of Surabaya, a 3-minute walk to Tunjungan Plaza, Hotel Majapahit Surabaya MGallery offers rooms with a marble and gold plated bathroom. From the first moment we stepped inside we knew that we had landed in a special place, the beautiful hotel Majapahit, Surabaya. What a grandeur when you look around the large hall, excellently furnished, with wood accents, beautiful sofas and armchairs and special paintings that take you back in time. A smooth check-in with indeed only a small suitcase, and no one behind the counter wondered where the rest of our luggage was. Unfortunately, it was left behind in Singapore and arrived two days later. The room was as expected, spacious, clean, with a balcony overlooking the beautiful North Garden, where we were also able to experience some parties up close. Breakfast is a mix of Asian and European at hotel Majapahit and is served buffet style in the Indigo Restaurant, it is beautiful. The operation and service are special, sometimes a bit subdued, but always correct. Some dishes could have been a little warmer, if a lid is left open it cools down quickly, but it didn't bother us, we took the time for our breakfast, talking to each other and looking out the window at the busy traffic. Except on Sundays when the vibrant Tunjungan road is closed from 6am to 9am to all traffic and pedestrians, cyclists and children have free rein, we were there twice early in the morning and thoroughly enjoyed it. Mr. Kahar Salamun, the general manager, was present every morning and checked with various guests what their feelings and ideas were, an excellent way to keep in touch with what was going on, including with the staff. He surprised us on our 6th anniversary of our marriage with a small present. On the menu we missed a good portion of sate ayam, but we got that elsewhere.

Bed very comfortable, next to street where a lot happen, food in rooftop restaurant very tasty and cheap. Rooms very cleans and comfortable. Cherry on the top is sunset in swimming pool. All stuff very friendly

Set in Surabaya, 500 metres from Sharp Bamboo Monument, Kampi Hotel Tunjungan - Surabaya offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking and a restaurant. My review may be biased because the hotel went above and beyond to help us, more in a minute about that. The hotel is in a good location, close to a couple of malls (if that is your thing), and a good location to use as a jump off point for tours. They have a nice lobby to wait for your ride in. The hotel seems to handle a lot of tours and as such has a pretty complete menu to choose from. The restaurant is open early to late, has an expresso machine (!!!!) and seems to always be fully staffed. There are lots of plugs around the dinning room if you want to just go down and have a coffee and work. The room was clean, the shower had great water pressure and anything we needed they were very responsive to. Now, on our check out day, there was a big parade that closed down all the streets in the area and our taxi couldn’t make it to the hotel!!! The staff immediately recognized the situation and had two staff use their personal scooters to ferry us (and our luggage!) out of the area and meet the taxi (who they talked to and coordinated our pickup!). They saved us making our flight. Kudos to that staff.

Boasting a bar and views of city, MORAZEN Surabaya is situated in Surabaya, 500 metres from Submarine Monument. This hotel is fantastic. Located in a very strategic location. I love the breakfast. Plus, they also have sauna and jacuzzi there. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Surabaya!

Spacious rooms and terrific staff. We did have an issue with the breakfast one morning but the manager was very prompt to address the issue. He repeatedly apologized and offered to upgrade our room, which was to a lovely suite! The staff even offered to bring breakfast up to our room the next day!

Located just a 5-minute drive from Tunjungan Plaza Shopping mall, Hotel Bumi Surabaya offers an elegant and cosy getaway featuring an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi access throughout the entire... This hotel is simply amazing - the best hotel we’ve ever been to and we have visited fair share of them. Room was very spacious and nicely designed, very comfortable big bed, amazing view from 20th floor, it has all essentials and more : ironing board, refrigerator, etc., some things a little outdated but in good shape and serves its purpose. The breakfast buffet was very nice and offering both European and Indonesian food, also diner options in restaurants were amazing. Staff was very helpful, you can buy cigarettes in the facility as well as order laundry service (though it was quite expensive even for hotel standards). There are two ATMs in 100m radius and another Citi one in 300m distance. Hotel is fairly close to the big mall and is generally well located. Exterior of the facility is breathtaking, amazing luxury vibe combined with variety of beautiful plants give an amazing experience. Pool located at 3rd floor enables to use it without necessity to show of your spidos in reception area which is usually the case in hotels. Lastly, small detail but important - toiletries provided by hotel are top notch, great conditioner and nice smelling body wash.
