We made our own breakfast every day. About 200 meter away is the stop for bus 144/244 which goes to the metro M2. The end of the line of 144 is the beginning of the line for M2. It takes about 15 minutes on #144 and 10 minutes on #244 because of different routes. Metro M2 takes one to the center of Pest, including to St Stephens Basilica and the Parliament. in 20-25 minutes. Going to CIty Park/Heros Square/Szechenniy Baths requires some transfers. At the junction of 144 & M2 is the very extensive modern shopping center Arkad.
