Lovely boutique hotel on the Buda side. Staff was always attentive and went out of their way to assist. Rooms are nice and cozy with a free mini bar. The best part was the location - it's less than a 5 minute walk to St Mathias Church and Fisherman's Bastion. Loved catching the views from Fisherman's Bastion at night and then walking back to the hotel. Lovely breakfast with plenty of options. Great selection of Sri Lankan Dilmah tea as well. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the quaint parts of Buda!

Pest-Buda-Hotel Design & Boutique is situated in historic building of the Castle district of Budapest, 200 metres from Matthias Church. Originally opened in 1696, the hotel was renovated in 2016. Amazing location, just steps away from the cathedral. From the moment we stepped inside the lobby, we were greeted with such warmth and courtesy, we felt right at home in the oldest hotel in Hungary (since 1696). The restaurant on site boasts great authentic Hungarian dishes. The room was very comfortable. Our only regret was that we could only spend one night.

Very good location (near the Castle Hill but also to the metro station), clean rooms, very helpful staff. Good breakfast and also you can dine (good food at decent price). The secure parking was a big plus.
