The hotel is also easy to get to the airport (with transport) and if you don't mind walking, Zone 1 is about a 40 minute away. The hotel has a very good cause, all their profits go to children's education.

I liked everything- the staff at the front desk I wish I remembered the name of the gentleman who received me at the hostel in the morning. I had run into issues with my flight out of Guatemala at 5 am and returned to Guatemala City feeling anxious and sad and the way he helped me settle down, offered me breakfast (although I was only checking in at 3 pm that day), got a room cleaned up earlier and allotted me so I could have some rest. I will not forget his help all my life. I found my dorm clean, the kitchen is well equipped and clean, the breakfast is good, the place is in a good location. I slept well the bed was comfortable

The Conquistador Hotel & Conference Center is 190 meters from Plaza de la República Metro Station, 100 meters from Shopping Center Plaza Quo that has several international cuisine restaurants,... Very central location. Obviously this has been a grand hotel in its day. I happen to like heavy marble and timber :) my room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. I thought it was good Vale for money with a great location.
