My first idea was to use Athens as a base, but then I changed my mind and never regret it. The town is cozy and atmospheric, and the hotel is probably the best you could imagine. It stays aside from the very center, so traffic is not a problem. But it's just 7km away from Athens' central part, so it takes 15 min to drive. There's convenient parking, too. The hotel has a fantastic restaurant on the rooftop with a spectacular view of Athens. The breakfast is amazing!

We enjoyed having breakfast in the cozy balcony with nice sea view. The host was super friendly and helpful, answered to all our request in less than 5 minutes. They let us to stay 2 more hours after check out time. There is also possibility to store your luggage if you arrive early or you want to check out and have a late flight at night like us. The apartment has everything you can imagine you would need. Kitchen is fully equipped, literally fully equipped. were were welcomed by cold juices and fruits in the fridge. there is a few steps to bus station. Bus 915 leave every 15 minutes and will get you to metro station and port.

Arranged hire car for us She also helped retrieve a lost wallet which was handed in to bus company , could not believe how honest the greek people are. And always baked goodies for us each morning.
