Located in the picturesque area of Plaka, the 2-star rated Sweet Home Hotel is 400 metres from Syntagma Square and the metro station. It features elegant accommodation and a bar. Lovely welcoming, friendly helpful staff who could not do anymore to make our stay more comfortable. The room was very comfortable and had everything you need. The toiletries were lovely. Kettle in the room. Loved the view of the Acropolis from our room. If we are lucky enough to return to Athens we will definitely go back to Home Sweet Home. Breakfast was very good. Location was very good. Everything walking distance

Þetta 5-stjörnu hótel er staðsett á frábærum stað í miðbæ Plaka og snýr að Akrópólishæð. It is the best located five star hotel in Athens . Hands down . Also, beautiful. The staff was extra nice . We had a lot of luggage and were doing island hopping for 10 days . We had the EP booked for our last night in Athens . They were incredibly nice and kept some luggage stored for us in Athens so we did not have to worry about carrying it everywhere . Super nice

Such a clean, calming, almost spa-like experience! The aesthetic was spot on. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. We literally woke to the smell of butter/ baked goods. The breakfast was excellent — try the yogurt with honey, really the best I’ve ever had. Terrific location, out of the most touristy area so it was pretty quiet but incredibly accessible to sites if you just walk a couple of blocks.

Had a lot of special requests due to a birthday weekend and the staff made the experience that much better. The room (we had the ground floor suite with a back garden) was very beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The weather was great so we could have our breakfast on the terrace, there were many amenities and a nicely stocked mini bar. The Wi-fi was flawless and the location was perfect. Right in the middle of Plaka, but also close enough to Syntagma Square, and all it's shopping and business amenities.

Very central in the historical part of Athens, walking distance to many places, but still very calm in the evenings. Beautiful rooftop terrace with view of the Acropolis. Perfect for exploring the city.

Adonis Hotel enjoys a prime location in one of the finest parts of Athens, the historical district of Plaka. What a hotel!! Firstly we were met with an exceptionally professional and so helpful gentleman at the desk. He had no problem organising taxis for us at any time. We arrived at 1pm and luckily our room was ready. The room was a really good size, had a lovely bathroom and was spotless. We had a large balcony overlooking the Acropolis and there is a bar open in the evenings overlooking the Acropolis also. All the staff were amazingly helpful. It is situated on a quiet street in Plaka just 2 minutes walk from the most fabulous selection of restaurants and shopping. We were able to walk to the Acropolis, The Tomb of the unknown Soldier and St Pauls Church. Such a fabulous hotel in a fabulous location. The hotel was recommended to me by a friend and I certainly would recommend it for a stay in Athens.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Location was perfect. It has a cute terrace on the top floor. Staff was really helpful and attentive.
