Loved the Acropolis view and proximity to tasty local restaurants. The apartment was new and comfortable, and balconies nice to have. Loved that. They did upkeep and washed dishes daily - nice perk! And they helped us with different pillows when our daughter wanted a smaller one. Great service. Metro is about 8 minute walk away, but you can walk it i the center in 15-20 if you prefer a walk.

Estia Boutique Apartments is centrally located in Athens, just 600 metres from Metaxourgio Metro Station. It has an on-site bar and offers uniquely designed accommodation with free WiFi access. This was my second stay at Estia, and, once again, it's been a lovely experience. It's a quiet, small hotel, a bit away from the touristic centre (which for me is an advantage), but within comfortable walking distance to most of the major attractions. The rooms are very spacious, super clean and comfortable and pleasantly decorated (as are the public spaces). My room (403) had a fully equipped little kitchen, a large dining table / desk, a large, excellent bed with high quality sheets and pillows, good aircon, a nice modern shower, a narrow but useful balcony, and more. Breakfast is very good, with a large variety of sweet and savoury, hot and cold dishes, all fresh and tempting. But above all, the atmosphere and service are truly exceptional. The small team of lovely young ladies running the place really make you feel at home - always smiling, asking how you are and what you need, giving useful advice and ready to help with anything and everything. It's a joy to stay there, and I will certainly be back!
