I came to London as a solo traveller, who mainly wanted to enjoy London the way locals do. That’s why I chose a traditional Victorian house in the area of Brent, a relatively calm and safe neighbourhood. The check-in experience was great. Although this is a shared home, I didn’t really notice anyone in it except the owner, whom I only met once. She is really nice and speaks English natively. The double bed was unconventionally small, but very comfortable. I also liked the bedsheets and towels. The room had a TV (I didn’t use it, though) and a portable electric heater. Please be reminded that EU plugs do NOT fit in the walls, but the owner thought of that and provided an adapter.

Mina is a star and nothing was a bother to her. She was ease to reach, fast in her reply and extremely kind and accommodating.I seriously cannot say enough good things about her. I was ill on my last day and Mina went above and beyond to help and make things as easy and us as comfortable as we could be. She truly aims for you to feel at home and succeeds. The place is lovely and we used mainly the nearby bus stop to get around. Having a fridge and kitchen was also very handy. Very comfy beds too. Would definitely recommend and go back! Thank you Mina!
