We lived on the top floor in room six. The stairs are a bit steep but you get a free work out. The room itself was inviting and very comfortable. We loved the bed, and the quilt and the pillows were so nice, warm and smooth. It was a bit chilly in the room which I love, since I tend to become too warm otherwise. The location is perfect, just up the street from the train station Hackney Central. We were going to a gig at the Oslo in Hackney so it was nice being so close to it. We loved the overall vibe of Hackney as well and want to visit it again. The only bad thing is that this amazing place is fully booked for the forseeable future. The staff were warm, kind and made us feel so welcome. We asked to borrow an adapter and a pair of scissors and that was not a problem. We hung out at the pub on our first night there and had so much fun! The karaoke was out of this world, so many talented people there. We loved our stay and will try to stay here again if we are lucky enough to find a vacant room!

The living room is really lovely with lovely lighting and a huge comfortable sofa. Lovely to have a balcony and despite being surrounded by neighbours, it was quiet. The place was really clean, easy check in and out. The host was super organised and answered my questions quickly and was very helpful.
