In the heart of Clapham Common, The Windmill On The Common offers a traditional pub and boutique hotel accommodation with free parking and free WiFi. It was VERY quiet at night and I had a very good sleep: beyond my expectations.

With en suite rooms and free Wi-Fi, Gateway Hotel is 150 metres from Clapham South Tube Station, a short walk from the open green space of Clapham Common. Staff were friendly, helpful, organised and patient. Very grateful.

You can even hear the birds. Communicating with the owner was easy and smooth. She was always kind and helpful when we were puzzled with some things. There were a number of house rules but they were all sensible and they were explained in detail.
