Well situated in the centre of Hillingdon, Swan Guest House LONDON - HEATHROW is situated in a historic building and offers express check-in and check-out and free private parking. This was a perfect place to stay during a Heathrow layover. It's in a not-too-exciting suburb, which is just what I wanted: a comfortable and quiet place to sleep, an uncrowded area to go for a walk, and a nearby restaurant (The Griddle) that cooked me a big vegan English breakfast. Robert, the proprietor, was very welcoming and advised me on a walking route that included greenspace and a historic gatehouse and church. The bed was comfortable and had a good reading light.

Oakwood B&B is just under 30 minutes to central London by train on the fast, new Elizabeth Line, and a 5 minute drive to Heathrow Airport. I really loved how easy the accessibility was to shops, train stations. and restaurants. I also loved the warm reception from the host.
