Villa Florentine is located in the heart of Old Lyon with panoramic views of the city. This former convent offers elegant guest rooms, a 24-hour reception and free WiFi throughout. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Being a smaller hotel it felt very calm and we had no problem securing a lounger around the pool area. The staff speak very good English and are very attentive. They made our stay very special.

I did a lot of walking so it was great to come back and luxuriate in the spa bath and enjoy the facilities. I would also recommend a nearby Boulangerie - 8 place Saint Paul.I also found it helpful to leave luggage at the office. the journey back to the airport was also straight forward from Bellecour metro.

Precisely renovated in 2023, the Academy offers travelers who stay there a unique hotel experience at the heart of the History of Knowledge. Hotel well located in the old town. Lovely old building that has been beautifully renovated. We were upgraded to a very large room with a King bed and a second room with corner lounge that I assume could be 2 single beds, and 2 bathrooms. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful.

Great location, room and overall experience. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is situated really well for exploring the city!

The apartment itself was super cool, built into the hill as you ascend into vieux lyon. Beautiful view over the city. Close to everything. Very comfortable, very hip, I instantly felt part of the scene than a visitor.
