Offering a terrace, Eklo Hotels Lille is set in Lille in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais Region, 2 km from Zénith of Lille. A very, very nice modern building providing both shared and private rooms. A rather large lift is available. The private room (en-suite) I have chosen was small but nicely decorated. Clean and minimalist: tiny desk with a chair, 4 hangers behind the door and plenty of sockets to charge your devices. Very safe thick window and door. The parking space (free) available just outside in an enclosed perimeter is a plus for those travelling by car or motorbike. The "reception" at the entrance is also a breakfast/cocktail and food bar. Nicely decorated. Staff speaking both French and English, very kind. Check-in/out quick and smooth. Fairly location (around 20-25 min walk to reach the town centre). One of the cheapest offers at the time of booking.

The apartment was new, big and comfortable. The indoor pool was fantastic for my young daughter. Being a residents building for older people, it was very quiet. Easy for self catering from the nearby supermarket or Wazemmes market, and just a few minutes walk from the Metro to get into Lille old town quickly. The staff were very sweet and tried to help us whenever needed, despite our poor French.
