The hotel is located nicely in the old town and yet the sound proofing was great. There was no disturbance at night even though it seemed like there were always people outside. The staff is great and breakfast is fantastic. As a chess fan, I also enjoyed friendly chess matches that gather almost every evening right in front of the entrance :)

The room was beautiful and clean. The staff is very polite and the property is situated right in the city center close to all restaurants and only a few minutes away from the harbor.

The hotel is centrally located, yet quiet. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Breakfast was the best we had in Spain (and a bargain). The room was spacious, modern, clean. From the delightful reception staff of this exceptional establishment, with their warm welcome, outstanding service, friendly and attentive hospitality (special mentions although I know I must have missed some names: Javier, Ramón, Manuel, and Belen), to the beautiful room with the stylish and elegant decor and a very equipped bathroom with the best rain shower I have ever used - I also booked a room with a view and small balcony overlooking the gorgeous port so this was an added advantage and despite it overlooking the port, the soundproofing was so efficient I could hardly hear any noise from the outside - to the cleaning crew who alway left the room immaculately clean and smelling so fresh (also a special shout-out to Johana, Luz, Estrellé, and Vauesa) - to the location of the hotel, a mere two minutes away from the port promenade and then further down to Muelle Uno, and a short distance to the historic Center and main shopping street (Calle Larios). I stayed at Room Mate Valeria for a whole month and each week, when I came back to my hotel room, I would find a little something waiting for me as a nice gesture from the hotel staff, it was so cute. The hotel’s motto is “mi casa es su casa” (my home is your home) and they follow that motto to the letter. A didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so I can’t comment on that, but it is definitely a hotel you would love to stay at as your home away from home! The Posada del Patio is 5-star hotel, situated in the centre of Málaga, with a rooftop swimming pool and free Wi-Fi. It features a fascinating exhibition of historic objects. Absolutely stunning! Hands down one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at! All the staff were amazing and so helpful
