I liked how the boat had a toilet and a sink and came stocked with cups, dishes, cleaning supplies, towels and soaps for the shower, and appliances like a microwave and mini fridge. There was a lot of communal spaces for hanging out with your friends which was nice. I also enjoyed the use of the private amenities like the toilets and showers that neared the dock. The perfect space for three people!

Set in Barcelona, 400 metres from Forum Beach and 1.4 km from Platja del Litoral, Beautiful Kiwi Boat offers a garden and air conditioning. My husband and I have never stayed on a boat before and figured this would be a fun change of pace! The owners are nice and very responsive. They meet to give you keys and instructions when you get there. They did have a tourist fee that needed to be paid in cash upon arrival which I’ve never had to do before, so getting cash wasn’t very easy. The boat port is lovely and very well maintained. There are many restaurants and a grocery store within a 5 min walk in the port. There’s also a beach club that has pool parties every night but we did not attend, however it did sound very fun! The boat was quiet at night and has air conditioning. However, the air in the main bedroom doesn’t seem to work very well, more like a fan, so it got hot at night. There are showers and laundry facilities in the port and also showers in the boat, however they’re very small and literally over the toilet, but they work fine. Easy access to the tram to get downtown. The boat has an elevated walkway to get in, which might be tough for disabled persons or if you have a very big suitcase (like we did). Overall it was a nice stay, we didn’t get sea sick either!

Sleep & Boats Barcelona City is a beachfront property located in Barcelona, 300 metres from Forum Beach and 1.4 km from Platja del Litoral. Ramiro was a fantastic host. We stayed on the boat with teenagers brilliant novel experience.
