It is a wonderful small boutique hotel. The area is totally safe and walking around also in the evening was fine. In my room it was completely quiet and in the night there was no sound. The Hotel Carolina Montecarlo, located in the tourist district of La Mariscal, 6 blocks from the central Plaza Foch, in the north center of Quito, combines colonial and modern architecture. Breakfast was very good. I would like to give a special thanks to the staff, as I forgot some items in my room but was able to recover them as soon as I called.
