The pool is very clean and not crowded at all. Other than the smell, the apartment is spacious and clean. There are so many restaurants around within 1 to 15 minutes walking distance. Bavaro beach is so nice with white and fine sand. The beach right in front of the complex doesn’t have nice swimming area. However you can just walk over to adjacent hotels and swim at their beaches which are much cleaners and bigger. You just can’t use their beach chair and umbrella. The hotel staff informed us beforehand about the electricity charge. Make sure to ask them about the meter reading before and after. We paid $80 in electricity for our 6 nights stay (we were pretty conservative in electricity usage, we turned off AC when not in the room). If you plan to do excursions, please note that tour buses usually don’t pick you up in front of Los Corales since the road in front is narrow. You need to walk about 5-10 minutes to other pick up locations

Sandy and Jan gave us a warm welcome at the hotel. Our stay was exceptional, only too short. They are really caring for their guest and do everything they can, to make them happy. You will feel comfortable and relaxed all the time. And you feel like in a little family. Also their staff is good hearted and super friendly. Yefri for example is almost like a son to them. What could be good to know if you would like to book: - they have a transport service to and from the airport - breakfast is too good to be true - its super super clean, and I am very picky about bathrooms

My room was exactly what expected and the whole hotel was quiet different from other resorts in which usually the pool or restaurants are crowded. The food was very good. In fact I have some restrictions due a surgery and the chef provide some options to accomodate my diet. The private beach zone was perfect to feel secure considering I was traveling alone. I could leave my stuff there with confidence that no one will touch them (consider I am latina so I am not use to this). In summary the hotel exceed all my expectations.
