Housed in a traditional 19th-century building, this hotel is located directly next to the Altastenberg Ski Region. Hotel Altastenberg offers comfortable rooms in a cosy ambiance. Breakfast was good. Extremely helpful and lovely staff.

The location was great, a nice hike to Winterberg´s city center or 7 mins by car. The rooms are clean and spacious, especially the bathroom (which is sometimes difficult to find in Europe). The owner is really nice, always available, and gave good advice on restaurants and hikes. I will recommend the pension.

More than enough space for a couple, with a great kitchen and bathroom, everything is modern and of quality. The location is absolutely perfect for a weekend away, just a few steps from the slopes and the bus station. The owners were extremely kind and easy to reach whenever we had questions, and we are already recommending it to everyone we know. At the first chance of another weekend away, we know where to look!
