A brilliant location. Relaxing and a beautiful quiet place to stay getting away from the hustle and bustle of life. Tanya was an exceptional hostess and if we needed anything we only had to ask. I would recommend this little converted fishermen's cottage to any couple wanting to have a quiet retreat. The little harbour is idealic and extremely relaxing. There are two restaurants nearby but if you wanted to stay in you can order anything from pizza, spaghetti bolognaise to schnitzel. I cannot recommend this little cottage any higher than exceptional and a 'one-off' little gem. Thank you Tanya (Jane from UK and Lynda from Berlin - sisters).

As advertised. Rooms were cosy. We didn't use the kitchen during our stay but it looked very well equipped. Washing machine in the bathroom (instead of in the cellar in many German apartments) is very handy. Super awesome to have blinds too to keep the entire house 100% dark during summer months when the sun rises earlier than usual waking hours 😀.

The apartment had comfortable beds, pillows, sofas and a terrace with a lounge chair. The owner was kind enough to allow early check in and a late checkout. It was very modern, clean, quiet and had nice views. I would happily stay there again. It is less than 1 block from a large supermarket which was very convenient.

A real super location on the river very quaint. The area was exactly what you would expect from a small town in Germany. The housing in that particular area is a mix of old & new with great character. SCHMUCKKASTLE is steeped in character with old wooden beams throughout yet very modern facilities super shower great cooking facility . Cant praise it enough. I think I hit the jackpot when I arrived there. The area is super super super. Loved it all. There is a bakery coffee shop vegetable shop imbiss pizza place all within a few short streets away. Apartment had a lovely little balcony. I was surprised to be greeted with a great bottle of wine. What a very nice touch and such a friendly warm welcome from a great host. Super place very clean & compact. You can also get lots of Ice cream within 20 metres on the beautiful river walkway. Plenty of wine also available in the area.

Location was great. Bottom floor, so cool even without AC. Close to bus stop, grocery shopping, restaurants, and the Rhein! Reasonable cost. Owner worked with us for early check in.

The agent/owner was extremely helpful and polite; transaction was done efficiently and i recieved the keys andwas in my lodging shortly after arriving. I will definitely stay at this property again if available.
