This hotel lies in the heart of Trier, close to the Old Town. It is just a 6-minute walk from Trier Cathedral and 900 metres from the Porta Nigra. Location was excellent, breakfast was very good (but a bit on the pricey side). Parking is convenient and cheaper than the city garage. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel and staff are VERY dog friendly (the owner even brings her dog to work with her).

Situated in the centre of Trier, Schroeders City-Style-Hotel is set 500 metres from Trier Theatre and 1.5 km from Trier Central Station. Considering its central location, the hotel offers parking at a fair price. Also, late arrivals can self-check in smoothly. By the reception there is a hospitality tray with tea and coffee making possibilities and cakes and fruit -it's a lovely gesture.

This hotel offers stylish accommodation with free Wi-Fi internet access in the heart of Trier, right next to the historic Porta Nigra gate and close to Imperator Thermae and Trier Roman Amphitheatre. The rooms were very clean and warm (I stayed in a cold March week), the bathroom was also perfect. Location is great - less than 10 minutes from the main train station and 2 minutes from the city center. Perfect for people without a car!
