This hotel is a great option if visiting Munich for a few days. It is easy to reach on the S-bahn railway (an S8 from the airport to Leuchtenbergring and then a change to go one stop on the S2, S4 or S6 to Berg am Laim station). The Berg am Laim railway station is just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. 10 minutes by train takes you into the city centre from the hotel. For those concerned about noise, this is one of the best sound proofed hotels I have ever stayed in. The doors are very sturdy and well sealed. There is a supermarket just across the road. The rooms and showers are excellent. The breakfast is varied with lots of options including hot meals. There is also a gym in the basement which was surprisingly well stocked. We were particularly impressed by the reception welcome when we arrived. It set the scene for a very successful stay. Thank you.

Absolutely great for travellers on a budget! Great value for the price and on a walking distance from the city centre (20 minute walk) and right next to a train station, bus stop and metro station. The staff were incredibly nice! Everything was clean and tidy.

The breakfast was excellent and I found the room to be very nice for the price.

Everything was very good, the breakfast is excellent, the rooms are very clean and well equipped. I recommend this hotel for sure to other who want to know Munich. The receptionist Marcela and Angela were very kind and professionals, with initiative for resolve situations, this skills are valuable because are not common in currently.

We booked the Private room for two, and the room was beyond our imagination. Very clean, with fantastic view from the window (attached photos), and modern design with new furnitures and material. The staff was friendly, kind, and helpful. It is worth staying with your buddies. Morning and Dinner Bouffe every day with tasteful delicacies. Additionally, it's near the Munich East (Ostbahnhof) train station (2-3 mins walk), which is one of the most central stations of Munich (you literally reach the center in 5 mins in 3 stops). Last but not least, there are plenty bars adjacent to the hostel with great music.
