Hotel Schiff am See is set in Konstanz, directly at Konstanz-Meersburg Harbour, making it an ideal base for exploring Lake Constance. Very easy to reach, nice breakfast and good view to BODENSEE.

I wasn't aware that the rooms were over a biergarten and restaurant but it did not impact our stay in the least. The breakfast in the morning was typical European (fresh rolls and croissants, meats and cheeses, fruits, vegetables, yogurt and cereals). On the second day the innkeeper kindly came to our room to check on us when she noted that we had not been down yet. Very quiet room, with room darkening shades. A bit of a ways from city center but really close to (free) bus and ferry. Very little English spoken (after all it is Germany) but staff is patient and most accommodating.

Just 200 metres from Lake Constance, this modern guest house features a spa including sauna, an infrared cabin, a spa shower and a relaxation area. Great place. Very well maintained and spotless
