These suites and apartments provide a beautiful place to stay in Heidelberg. They are located on the River Neckar, next to the Old Bridge and a short walk from all attractions. Amazing place, the great hospitality ever. Clean, quiet, pleasant people. Close by ( over the bridge) but still quiet and peaceful. Nice garden and view. Will come back for sure

Hotel-Pension Berger is located a just a few minutes' walk from the historic district of Heidelberg. It offers free WiFi, a garden and a seasonal outdoor pool. I've travelled quite a lot in many different countries, and it is rare for me to unequivocally recommend a hotel, but Hotel Pension Berger proved to be one of those hidden gems. The location couldn't be better for my needs - I was there to visit the Astronomisches Rechen-Institut of Heidelberg University, which is next door to the hotel, but it is also within easy walking distance of many restaurants, cafes and shops. My single-bed room was very comfortable, with an ensuite bathroom with high-end fittings, and well equipped with a reliable wifi connection. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean throughout, and in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. Breakfast was served as an ample buffet in a dining room on the ground-floor, with cooked options available as well as cereals, breads, meats, salads, fruit etc. But especial thanks to proprietor Beate Berger, who was so friendly and really went the extra mile during my stay, helping me to make onward travel connections and accommodating my very-late-night check-in. I regret that I don't speak German, but Beate's English is excellent, and I really appreciate her warm welcome.

Set in a historic building dating back the turn of the 20th century in the romantic city of Heidelberg, this rustic-style hotel boasts modern rooms with traditional charm. I was pleasantly surprise how wonderful this hotel was. A true gem hidden away from the hassle and bustle, yet only 5 minutes walking distance to the Old City Center. The room was comfortable so were the beds. The breakfast was served in a light, elegant room and super yummy. The freshly brewed coffee and freshly pressed juice gave it this special touch. I will always come back to this accommodation when I come to Heidelberg. Thank you.

Zweite Heimat Heidelberg is set in the Neuenheim district of Heidelberg, 2.7 km from Theatre Heidelberg, 2.9 km from Central Station Heidelberg and 3.1 km from Castle Heidelberg. It was wonderful to be able to sit on the terrace both mornings and evenings. The rooms were spatious and the beds and bedware were very comfortable. The two doublebeds were in kingsize and easy to share. Extra positive were that the coffee mashine was filled up with whole beans enough for us all during 3 days.
