Welcome tothe Steigenberger Hotel Treudelberg Hamburg, a retreat in the idyllic, green Alster Valley of Hamburg, nestled in a nature reserve. I am a regular because the location in the north of town is perfect for me. The pool is great, the gym is state of the art and it is in the middle of a park. This time I had excellent white asparagus in the restaurant. It was perfect.

This Select Hotel Tiefenthal in Hamburg’s lively Wandsbek district is a 20-minute S-Bahn ride from Hamburg Airport and a 10-minute underground ride from the city centre. Nice tidy rooms, well equipped, we had everything we needed. A nice bonus was the balcony. Very comfortable beds. Very good breakfast.

Room : comfortable but the room on mean street is noisy because the cars, bus , kids etc.. Other room was calm. so it depends. Breakfast : was ok. Clean. Yes it was clean. Sraff at the reception were very good and very helpful and available.
