It is super close to the concert venue Westfallenhalle, which is why I chose it. Very accessible to public transit though. The staff is also very accommodating and friendly. I would say definitely book in advance if there are any events around because the rates change significantly.

We last stayed in a Steigenberger hotel in 2006 in Stuttgart opposite the station.
