There are artworks all over the gardens and the hotel and every room is individually furnished with beautiful antique furniture and artworks. While the hotel is not situated in the city centre, the excellent public transport services of Berlin make it easy to reach. There is, for example, a direct bus line to/from Berlin Central Station right to a few metres from the hotel. The staff was wonderful and bent over backwards to help me. I arrived in the morning after a long flight from Melbourne and had a seminar at Freie Universitaet at noon. When I mailed this to the hotel, they were so kind to allow me to check in in the morning without any extra cost, so I could take a shower and change clothes before going to my seminar. The hotel offers a large choice of breakfast items and breakfast is prepared fresh individually for each guest.
