I was late one day, due to a strike of the trains in Germany, and they were kind enough not to charge me for the night I didn't spend there. Very thoughtful! The hotel is clean, comfy and well-decorated.

Hotel the YARD is set in the vibrant Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district of Berlin, a 15-minute walk from Checkpoint Charlie. Beautiful modern hotel. Very clean with a lovely mini gym, amd swimming pool which suited our needs . Really lovely staff, whom were courteous and helpful . The location was perfect ( a 10 minute walk to an excellent Turkish coffee shop/ off-licence ) . A lovely little cafe opposite the hotel which served the most amazing sandwiches and cake . Easy to get to the U- Bahn.

Offering fitness facilities, Grimm´s Hotel am Potsdamer Platz is centrally located in Berlin. Excellent location with lots of greenery around and so central. It's not far away from the U-Bahn station which is really a big plus!! The room was fine, clean, with nice comfortable single beds (which we requested), nice bathroom facilities! Good to have a safe too. We even had a view! Very sweet fairytale theme can be see throughout the hotel. Breakfast was great!! We loved the garden setting and really enjoyed starting the day there. Lots of choice, good coffee and very friendly service. There were even some vegetarian/vegan options. We also had dinner a few times at the restaurant Tischlein Deck Dich, which was very enjoyable. I was happy with the vegetarian/vegan options on the menu! Staff at reception was very helpful and friendly as well.
