Doté d'une salle de sport, d'un salon commun et d'un restaurant, l'Holiday Inn Express Qingdao City Center, an IHG Hotel est situé dans le centre de Qingdao, à 2 km du centre olympique de voile. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They assisted me with resolving an issue with a bank ATM, calling the bank for me and arranging matters, and keeping me up to date. They also helped me on various other occasions to find shops, manage public transport etc. The beds are comfortable (not always a given in China). The location is excellent, right next to metro line 2 and close to a number of shops and restaurants. Sockets take EU plugs, and there were also USB ports for charging. The airco was welcome in the 30-degree weather. The hotel has a free laundry service which came in handy, with short wash and dry cycles so you can do a quick wash. Breakfast was good, with a variety of choices both Western and Chinese.

Situé à 5 minutes à pied de la plage et du centre commercial Yangguang, le Qingdao Housing International Hotel est implanté le long de la rue Hong Kong Middle Road. The subway is close to the building, and easy to walk around. The light show every night was awesome.
