Sunset Resort is situated just 6 km from Avarua in Rarotonga. Its spacious, self-catering studios and suites either boast a beachfront location, or overlook the 2 outdoor swimming pools. Beachfront room with lovely views over the gardens to the beach and sea. Beautiful in the morning and also benefiting from lovely sunsets. Room well equipped and clean. 2 small pools, one at the cocktail bar, where there is an excellent range of cocktails and drinks at very reasonable prices. Light breakfast provided and evening meal option, which was very good, Also other options within walking distance together with a small bakery across the road. Island bus service stops outside. Staff all friendly and helpful. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Magic Reef Resort offers Polynesian-style bungalows in a great location directly on the beach in Rarotonga. This little resort offers spacious accommodation with great ocean views. Excellent facilities, very carefully thought out. Bungalows are equipped with everything we needed and more. The west facing orientation is perfect, catching the morning sun on the water to really accentuate the colours of the ocean, and the watching the sunsets from one of the hammock is just bliss.
