Featuring an outdoor pool with panoramic views over Lake Maggiore, this elegant Villa enjoys a privileged location above Locarno. Everything! This place is absolutely exceptional in every respect. From the amazing greeting, wonderful fragrance, the best view of any lake hotel I’ve been to and the room… totally amazing. We were here for our honeymoon and will definitely return! The food was also exceptional.

Set on a hill above Locarno, the La Barca Blu overlooks Lake Maggiore and is a 5-minute walk from the funicular to Locarno. Free WiFi is available. All rooms feature a balcony or a terrace. The staff were very helpful, especially with the bus system. The walk down from the hotel to the lake was entertaining in and of itself. The room was comfortable and breakfast was good.

The house was real house, not a cheap made B&B house for rent. I respect the works they put in the house. The view was spectacular. The location is just wonderful in a small town above Locarno. They have parks, and a grocery store where they sell fresh pastry. There are cafes and reasonable restaurants in the area, too. Our kids went crazy using buses and cable cars to go back and forth between the Locarno city centre and the lake. Thank you!

Set in 2 traditional Ticino-style buildings, 2 km from Locarno and Lake Maggiore, Case di Sotto House & Breakfast offers free WiFi, a terrace with a panoramic view of the lake and an on-site wine... Well equipped quaint cottage with a magnificent view of the lake, good parking close by. Extremely friendly and helpful host who prepared delicious extensive breakfast. Nice interior, prosecco and pastry as welcome. Lovely little village located up the mountain above Lago Maggiore. The loggia where we could sit and sip wine was a hidden gem.

The place itself is very nice with a breathtaking view, lots of space and a very nice indoor pool. The hosts were very kind and friendly, they picked me up at the station since I arrived late.
