Hotel Sternen Muri is located in the suburb of Muri, 6 km from the centre of Bern. The restaurant has a terrace and serves Swiss and international cuisine and fine wines. Clean, quiet, onsite restaurant with tasty food (and amazing gelato!). Varied and filling breakfast. Fantastic, friendly staff. You also get a free travel card which takes you into Bern centre, which is 16 minutes on the bus. We stayed in the new block which has great air conditioning. Also, they have a variety of pillows for you to choose from, which was a nice touch. Overall an extremely relaxing hotel which made our holiday perfect. Very sad to leave, but can’t wait to return next year!

Senevita Residenz Multengut Muri is situated in Muri, 4 km from the centre of Bern. Loved everything about this stay. The facilities were terrific, the value (for amount paid) was remarkable, and the size of the unit, with large patio/porch was amazing! 2 (2!) patio doors to open for ventilation and fresh Swiss air... and overnight the area was very quiet, so doors could stay open. The COOP grocery, 2 minute walk, was used way more than we thought because the quality and quantity of the food offered there was incredible. The 6 tram into Bern was perfect. (download the oV Plus app for super-easy ticket purchase) 10chf for day pass, even less for simple round trip. Walk to Aare river through a lovely neighborhood. There was always a place to park our car right out front. One evening we were blocked in for a short time by a service/moving van, but not a big deal. In short, nothing but praises to sing about our week here!! Want to return, immediately!

Set in Bern and only 3.5 km from Bärengraben, GreenPlace City Apartment offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. The apartment is very nice and super clean. The surroundings are nice and you can enjoy a nice walking. Wifi was perfect. We also had access to their washing machine (very important when you have a baby!!!)…thanks for that!
