Hotel Märthof Basel features a fitness centre, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Basel. Each accommodation at the 4-star hotel has city views, and guests can enjoy access to a sauna and a hammam. Location was excellent, breakfast was pricey, but good! Staff was very friendly and helpful!

Situated in the centre of Basel's Old Town, on the banks of the Rhine, Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois is one of Europe’s oldest city hotels, where such personalities as Napoleon, Elizabeth II, Pablo... Breakfast was nice but just the usual. Probably not worth €45 a person. Location was perfect right in the heart of the old town, on the river. Make sure to request a room with a view of the river. The hotel is exceptional in every way but expensive. The staff will go out of their way to meet your every request. Enjoy the cigar bar. The bedsheets and duvet cover was extremely soft and comfortable. The mini bar was accessible, free of charge.

Matatagpuan ang Motel One Basel sa Basel, may 100 metro mula sa Architectural Museum. Masisiyahan ang mga guest sa onsite bar at makikinabang sa libreng WiFi access. First off, the staff are great. We were able to check-in at 11am and provided with a swiss plug adapter. Location is perfect. Christmas markets right outside the front door. Our room was a decent size with a nice view of the street. Lobby/bar area is a nice comfortable place to relax and have a drink. 100% recommend.

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. It is simple, but has everything needed, great location, nice staff, super value for money.

Hotel brasserie au violon offers rooms with free WiFi in Basel, attractively situated 200 metres from Architectural Museum and 300 metres from Basel Cathedral. Very convenient location, friendly staff, good breakfasts, hotel provides free bus cards, tasty coffee and tee are waiting at every floor. As the hotel is in the old building we were little bit worry about utilities, like weak water pressure or problems with sewerage, ventilation (common problems with old building). But no, there weren't any problems with that, everything works perfectly.
