The location was so good. Right in the middle of everything we needed. We had a room at the front so noise was not an issue. Staff were very quick to attend to any help we required.

The staff at breakfast were exceptional in their friendliness and efficiency. The reception staff were also very welcoming and helpful. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the robe was so good that I ordered one to my house! Quiet hotel, allowed me to sleep peacefully. Location is excellent - right across from Public Gardens and around the corner from Spring Garden so easy walking access to Halifax. Umbrellas available to borrow and these were needed due to the humidity and rain. I would absolutely stay here again.

Built in May 2014, Hampton Inn by Hilton Halifax Downtown is located in Halifax. It boasts an indoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi access throughout. Scotiabank Centre is within 240 metres. The breakfast was such a plus. The only thing I found that I think needs addressing is the bed. The mattress itself was comfortable but the frame was very flimsy and shakey. If I even coughed , the whole bed moved. Everytime I moved , even a little , my husband was woke up and vise versa. Nothing a solid frame couldnt fix. Other than that , the rooms were a good size , very clean and cozy. The location was perfect for a casino visit to the city and the staff at the front counter , well so friendly and accommodating.
