The staff is so kind. So friendly. So welcoming. From the entry doorway to the rooftop , the staff did not disappoint. The rooftop pool is beautiful with the bar / Resteraunt as well. The hotel is just a vibe, all around. Very antique designs and setup but they’ve kept up with it well. You can walk anywhere in vintage Salvador from here as well. Easy for cabs to find. Great location. Very safe.

This is a small boutique hotel located next to the Praça da Sé, a popular square in the heart of Pelourinho. Public transportation and the Elevator Lacerda are a short walk away. We had a comfortable and wonderful stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The old building had lots of charm. Given its location in the heart of the old city, we expected to hear a lot of street noise but were pleasantly surprised as to how quiet the room was. The breakfast was excellent and we appreciated the help they gave us in arranging for a guide to see the city. Everything about our stay was top notch.

Perfect location right in the middle of Pelourinho, surrounded by beautiful churches and other historical sights. We loved looking out at the street from our little balcony. We even enjoyed a jazz concert from the balcony which took place on the church steps across the street. Staff were very friendly and helpful; one staff member spoke excellent English, and the others were very patient and tolerant of our limited Portuguese.
