The location is extraordinary. Short walk to small grocery store, restaurants, beach, and cable car to sugarloaf mountain. Room was clean, with great shower, and small kitchenette. Bed was big and comfortable. Eduardo talked with us through booking.com messages while we were traveling to the property. He was there to meet us and show us how to get in the unit. He was super nice, his English was very good, and he had great recommendation about the local area. The pictures show a couple of meals we had just a short walk from the property. The sunset picture over my partner's shoulder shows the view from across the street outside the property (I was not expecting that view... it is stunning). The last photo shows the view on top of sugarloaf mountain which is very close to the property. Well worth the money.

The place is located in one of the most quiet and secure places in Rio de Janeiro, it is close to most of the tourist attractions, you can take public transportation to get anywhere from there if you feel confident and comfortable doing it, Uber is a great option as well since they won't be expensive either. The staff have a great vibe, they are very friendly and very attentive, their breakfast is amazing and is served in a place with a great view that will give you the kick you need to explore the city.
