Our hosts Helena and Diogo were wonderful kind caring and helpful . We felt welcome, we felt at home and we felt safe. Our bedroom was spacious as was our bathroom. We had access to the first floor of the house so we didn’t feel confined. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful

The friendly and helpful staff made JnJ a great place to base my Rio visit. Walking distance to grocery, restaurants, pharmacies, laundry etc. Also on main bus route to Copa Cabana. Also just a short walk to Corcovado tram. Excellent Uber service as well with pickup and drop off street, so very safe.

There are Saunas, pool, wellness/fitness, colourful lights and Lounge-atmosphere ALL over the place!! And to top it off, the Staff is REALLY kind; a super relaxed, chill, Weird and Unforgettable place/experience. I went alone, and it was great. Go there with your partner, and I bet You will have SO much fun exploring the wellness facilities! Also very nice/practical with the kitchen amd Laundry. I'm impressed and will be back! PS: The area is "interesting" in the sense that you are near the wonderful paths/roads leading up to "The Redeemer" - but also near authentic Favela-vibe, which might surprise the explorer. If you do go through the favela-area, LISTEN to the sound advice from the locals!

Rubens and his staff was so welcoming! We really enjoyed it. The Hostel is a bit hidden. But its def worth it! Waking up with little apes and tucans around you! really recommended!
