I booked it based on the high reviews and I wasn't disappointed. Surrounded by the most beautiful nature, lakes ect. Also there's a trail to a ancient observertory which was a real find. Highly recommend.

In the Barra da Lagoa district of Florianópolis, close to Mocambique Beach, Patz Houz Hostel features a garden and a washing machine. Breakfast was broad and varying compared to others, more like a little buffet.
