The free wine in the evenings was an added bonus and tasted lovely. Hristo was an excellent host and able to help with transfers from the airport and any questions that you might have. Each trip was personalized with a lovely welcome and there were many nice touches that really made the trip unforgettable. Organic soaps and a lovely tea selection was also a nice touch. I would/will certainly stay at Hotel Evmolpia again - the location is fantastic too as it is in the beautiful Old Town but also less than a 5min walk to Kapana (bars/restaurants etc). I highly recommend this Hotel.

Centrally located in Plovdiv, Hotel Odeon offers colourfully designed accommodation just 50 metres from the Main Square and 150 metres away from the Roman Theatre Plovdiv. Free Wi-Fi is provided. Staff were wonderful. So helpful. Offered us use of umbrellas when rain started unexpectedly one evening. Also sorted a kettle and cups for the room so that we could make a drink during the day. Breakfast was plentiful. Fresh cooked eggs on request. Lovely dining room overlooking Roman remains. Location is perfect. At the edge of the pedestrian area for the main town and a stones throw away from the old town. When we were leaving the staff phoned for a taxi which arrived in a few minutes and was half the price we paid for our incoming taxi ride which we got ourselves at the airport (we were clearly ripped off!!)
