Set in a residential area a 10-minute walk from the historical centre of Ghent, The Aparthotel Castelnou offers spacious accommodation, an on-site à la carte restaurant and a garden terrace. The breakfast was good, it could have been a little more diversified in the sense of introducing fried sausages, fried eggs, cream sausages. Cleanliness, staying only one day, we know that it was very clean when we came.

Lovely & Stylish accommodation at P36 Gent, near the Center asub Gentis Macharius-Heirnise linnaosas, 4 km kaugusel Sint-Pietersstation Gentist ja 48 km kaugusel Boudewijni merepargist. The clean, spacious and modern apartment had everything we needed for a very comfortable and homely stay. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, including oil and condiments; laundry pods were supplied for use of the washing machine. Very good location between Ghent-Dampoort railway station and the city centre (via a pleasant walk by the canal). There were stores nearby; quiet residential neighbourhood. Hosts/Owners are very friendly - Kit Teng (and her smiley son!) greeted us upon arrival and showed us around the apartment; her husband helped us at departure - their personal touch certainly added to the homely feel. They are also responsive and answered all our queries before and during our stay. Clearly, much thought and effort had been given into the design of the place and service rendered. Highly recommended for anyone looking for accommodation in Ghent.

The apartment is very lean so at first sight, it looks minimalistic but it’s actually very modern and well-equipped with really cool gadgets. My family had so much fun discovering them. The coffee machine looked intimidating at first but once it’s warmed up, select your desired cup size & coffee strength. I instinctively pressed a button with a cup icon and voila, it made my coffee. There’s designated icons on a pad to turn lights on or off. These icons are self-explanatory. So If you wanna enable the tv, then press the tv icon. Select the shower icon to control lights in the shower or the stairs icon to light up the stairs. You get the point. And if you’re wondering where the towels might be, just slide the bathroom door closed. I assure you, you’ll find them. The property is within walking distance to the city square’s Xmas market. If you’re coming by car like we did, it’s best to go to the property first to drop off your belongings, pick up the parking pass (they call it badge) then park your car. The parking is only a few minutes walk to the property. The kitchen has all you need to do your cooking. You just gotta find them. I say this with amusement because they are strategically placed and stored. We slept very well here. It’s super clean and it has a very relaxing vibe. The hosts are very good at what they do. Tom sent us all the info we needed prior to arrival and Jurgen, who handed us the keys, helped us carry our luggages and gave us the warmest welcome. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it. And if you’re a fan of Apple gadgets, well, you’ll know what I mean...

Aiavaatega tuba 1,2, trois...Le Roi asub Gentis, 48 km kaugusel Boudewijni merepargist ja Damme golfiklubist. Terrassiga majutusasutuses on tasuta eraparkla ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Sabine met us to show us round, and took us to the secure garage nearby. She pointed out the shortest route into the town centre and was happy to provide any necessary support during our stay as well. Really appreciated her help when we had to change the dates of our stay slightly.

Renèe is a wonderful hosteller, kind and welcoming. Tea and coffee in the room, kitchen in the hall. Quiet and warm room. Close to the railway and bus station.

Very nice accommodation, walking distance from 15 minutes to the city of Ghent. Two smaller bedrooms up stairs, one big bedroom down stairs. Good kitchen and living room. Small cafe on the corner of the street.
